Sewer Work Impacts Jonesboro Road and Sawtell Avenue

What: Sewer repair project to affect Jonesboro Road and Sawtell Avenue traffic

Where: Intersection of Jonesboro Road and Sawtell Avenue

When: 9 am–4 pm, Wednesday, September 5 – Friday, September 14

Comments: Contractors will repair a sewer line in this location, requiring closure of the two northbound lanes on Jonesboro Road and the eastbound lane on Sawtell Avenue during construction hours. A traffic control officer and flaggers will be onsite. Travelers will be directed to use the south and eastbound lanes. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible. No commercial traffic will be permitted on Sawtell Avenue. The road will be open over the weekend.
