City of Atlanta Announces Solid Waste Services MLK Holiday Schedule
Solid waste collections delayed one day in observance of MLK Day
ATLANTA – The City of Atlanta Department of Public Works announced that the Office of Solid Waste Services will be closed Monday, January 20, 2020 in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. Garbage, recycling, bulk and yard waste trimmings will not be collected Monday, January 20, 2020. All curbside collection services will be delayed one day the remainder of the week. Customers whose regular collection day is Friday will receive solid waste collection services on Saturday, January 25, 2020.
