Mayor Kasim Reed and Vice President Joe Biden will visit the Port of Savannah. During the visit, the Vice President will discuss the importance of infrastructure investment to exports, economic competitiveness, and job creation. The Port of Savannah is the East Coast’s busiest port for containerized exports.

Camera/Equipment Pre-Set: 9:00 a.m. Satellite trucks and all media members with large TV equipment should meet at Annex 2 and will be escorted into the event site as a group. Please arrive promptly.
Restricted Access: 9:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. All credentialed press will meet at Annex 2, and be shuttled in together. Independent arrivals will not be permitted.

Press Arrival Time: 1:00 p.m. Please arrive promptly, as media will be shuttled as a group into the port.

Final Media Access Time: 1:45 p.m.

Media Entrance: Annex 2 Parking Lot, 100 Main Street, Garden City, Georgia, 31408 (directly east of the Administration Building). Media will be checked-in and shuttled into the port.
General Media Parking: Annex 2 Parking Lot, 100 Main Street, Garden City, Georgia, 31408.
Live Truck Parking: Annex 2 Parking Lot, 100 Main Street, Garden City, Georgia, 31408. Trucks will be escorted as a group into the port from Annex 2, where cabling and pre-set instructions will be provided.
