Traffic Advisory

What: Installation of fire hydrant and water valve

Where: Collins Drive NW at Bolton Road NW

When: Tuesday, July 14, 8:30 a.m. until complete

Comments: Crews will perform a hydrant installation at the intersection of Collins Drive and Bolton Road in northwest Atlanta. Work is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue for approximately 8 hours. Drivers are advised to use caution in the work zone.

The installation will require the interruption of water service for customers along Bolton Road between Collins Drive and Parkview Lane, as well as Collins Drive, Collins Ridge, Parkview Lane, Parkview Run, and Parkview Court.

Customers are encouraged to perform major water uses such as clothes washing, dish washing and bathing prior to the service interruption, and to store away water for drinking, hand washing, flushing, cooking and other household uses during interruption of service.
