Traffic Advisory

What: Sinkhole repairs to close portion of Glenwood Avenue SE overnight

Where: Glenwood Avenue SE between Bill Kennedy Way SE and Brasfield Square

When: Jan. 22, 10 p.m. – until repairs are complete

Comments: DWM crews are repairing a sinkhole along Glenwood Avenue SE, resulting in a temporary road closure between Bill Kennedy Way SE and Brasfield Square. Motorists are advised to use caution and to follow all traffic control measures in the area.

Water service may be temporarily interrupted during this time. Residents are advised to store away a supply of water for drinking and other purposes overnight. Once water service has been restored, residents are advised to allow faucets to run for several minutes.
