Department of Public Works to Host Christmas Tree Recycling Events
ATLANTA Thế giới cá– The Department of Public Works announced today that it will join Keep Atlanta Beautiful, Keep Georgia Beautiful, the Georgia Forestry Commission, The Home Depot, The Davey Tree Company, the Ferry Morse Company and WXIA 11 Alive to host Christmas tree recycling events throughout the City of Atlanta on January 2, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Residents can drop off their Christmas trees at the following locations:
The Home Depot – Midtown
650 Ponce de Leon Place NE
Atlanta, GA 30308
The Home Depot – Buckhead
2525 Piedmont Road NE
Atlanta, GA 30324
The Home Depot – Cascade
1032 Research Center Drive
Atlanta, GA 30331
Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM)
1110 Hill Street
Atlanta, GA 30315
Complimentary dogwood seedlings and vegetable flower seed packets will be available to residents recycling Christmas Trees while supplies last. Residents can also request free mulch from The Davey Tree Company but must be able to accept a full truck load. Standard load sizes are 15-20 cubic yards. To request mulch, call 770-451-7911.
