Mayor Kasim Reed Statement on Lifted Boil Water Advisory
ATLANTA – “The City of Atlanta has now lifted the Boil Water Advisory issued on July 6, 2017 for all areas including the Mechanicsville neighborhood and the Campbellton-Fairburn Road areas. Additional samples taken in these two isolated areas confirmed there was no contamination of the public water system. Water may be used for all purposes without boiling.
We thank everyone for exercising caution and being patient during the testing period. Our priority is to ensure the highest quality drinking water for Atlanta, and we are proud to deliver on this commitment."
