WHAT:

The City of Atlanta Department of Planning & Community Development will join the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at a major housing counseling grants announcement on Tuesday. Representatives from the Piece by Piece Regional Foreclosure Initiative, the Atlanta Regional Commission, the State of Georgia, and leaders from various housing counseling agencies will also be present. Funding will go to city and state housing counseling agencies to help homeowners avoid foreclosure as the recently revealed Piece by Piece Regional Foreclosure Initiative takes root.
