Atlanta Fire Rescue has a number of initiatives and partnerships in place, all designed to further the goal of fire safety. These initiatives are designed to provide assistance and/or information to residents, seniors and children and youth. General Residents
an enhanced information system that allows pre-registered users to provide critical personal information to first responders when users call 911
provides smoke detectors in every home in Atlanta free of charge
trains citizens in emergency preparedness at no cost

Seniors

provides child safety seat educational services to parents and caregivers at 33 stations across the city; also provides child safety seats to low-income families
To Request a Fire Apparatus
