The vision of the Office of Recreation is to provide excellent facilities, programs and customer service that satisfy the needs of the local communities and the City of Atlanta.

Our mission is to provide quality professional recreational services and programs to all citizens of Atlanta through balanced, enjoyable and affordable activities. Afterschool (Ages 5 - 12)
The Centers of Hope afterschool program provides your child with an enriching and safe environment where they can unwind, develop and enrich their day with a plethora of activities. Please click here for more information.

Atlanta Teen Leaders (ATL) Afterschool Programming
(Ages 13 - 18)
The ATL Program offers teens ages 13–18 the opportunity
to become involved in their community while receiving
leadership training throughout the school year. To learn more about ATL Teen Leaders teen programs, click here.

The Seniors Program provides quality professional recreational services for senior citizens of Atlanta. To learn more about our Seniors Programs available at the recreation centers click For information on the Seniors Aquatic Programs located at the natatoriums click

The Office of Recreation provides quality programs in youth and adults athletics. Learn more about the football, basketball, soccer, cheerleading, volleyball and softball programs, by contacting one of the locations listed here.

Membership passes provide access to all City of Atlanta recreation and aquatic centers and outdoor pools during regular hours of operation for one year. Pass holders are permitted to swim in open lanes and have access to the weight rooms at City of Atlanta recreation centers. To purchase
