The MISSION of the Department of Enterprise Assets Management is to:

  • Provide lifecycle management of physical assets to sustainably achieve their stated business objectives.
  • Coordinate activities to realize maximum value from assets.
  • Provide strategic oversight, and efficient management of the City’s real property holdings and owned or lease facilities.
  • Provide efficient property acquisitions.
  • Provide the City with a Facility Program Management Office
  • Provide safe, clean, well maintained, accessible and sustainable facilities

What we do

Facilities Management
Facilities Management (FM) is charged with providing safe, secure, clean and well-maintained sustainable facilities. The division has direct responsibility for maintaining, repairing, securing, cleaning and providing services for the following facilities: City Hall, Municipal Court, Birdine, Dunbar, and Georgia Hill Neighborhood Centers, Public Safety Headquarters, Public Safety Annex, 911 Center and the Atlanta Workforce Development Authority (AWDA). FM also provides maintenance and repair support for 34 Atlanta Fire Stations, 8 Police Precincts and the Atlanta Detention Center. The division manages a total of 51 facilities.

Technical Services
The technical team is responsible for all small, medium and large construction/renovation and move projects. This team has responsibility for tracking all furniture assets as well as surplus inventory. Our customers include all city departments and our location includes all city owned or leased spaces.

Technical Services also has responsibility for the safety and security of City buildings and employees. The security members provide solutions to any and all security issue, emergency, etc.

Each team member brings a unique skill that will provide our customers with the best solution to any space, environmental, safety, or security issue.

Real Estate Portfolio
Thế giới cáReal Estate maintains the City’s inventory of owned and leased properties, excluding Aviation and Board of Education properties. Real Estate assists departments with the acquisition, disposition and management of their real estate needs. Real Estate’s staff manages the city’s three neighborhood centers that lease space to public and private agencies providing services to their communities. The primary functions of the division include property management; the acquisition and disposition of real estate interests; intergovernmental transfers; and revision of the real estate code. The Real Estate Division has become the primary point of contact for both employees and the public regarding inquiries involving city-owned property as well as questions involving real estate in general.
